Vacation Success

Hi there.  Here's a sampling of what I accomplished this past week while home on vacation.  It feels so good!  I finished five more today, but didn't have my camera with me.  Oops.

Most of these are going to one of two fairs I'm doing locally...one on March 10th and the other on March 19th. 

This one is a custom order for a friend at school. I hope she likes it!  (it has since been distressed)  :)

Winter Vacation Has Arrived!

Hi.  Winter vacation has finally arrived and if all goes my way (she prayed), I will be spending serious time in my cottage, creating!

On tap are...two "Gathering Room" signs, two "Amazing Grace signs, and three "Celebrate Life" signs.  I also have two custom orders to start and I'm looking forward to every one of them.  :)

I'll be back later this week with photos to share.  Tally ho!

Finally finished these four signs today!  The two town signs are for one of the teachers at school who ordered one for herself before Christmas, then ordered two more for gifts.  One of the "Welcome Home" signs is for my daughter who's giving it as a gift, the other will be for sale.

Hopefully, tomorrow I can get started on the three new ones!

Getting There!

Hi there.  I'm progressing, slowly but surely, towards getting this blog up and running, slowly being the key word here!

I was finally able to get a slide-show of some of my signs, except that I haven't got the sizes, colors, etc., posted, nor do I have postage costs worked out.  I know, it's kind of like putting the cart before the horse, but I was getting antsy. 

Over the next couple of weeks I'll get in gear...really, I will.  Til then, tally ho, onward, and all that jazz!

Hi there.  Just wanted to share a photo that my blogging friend, Lori, sent.  She ordered three signs from me, so I sent this one along just for her.  I really like her display, and I like where my little sign lives now. :)

I love this quote...just read it today on Make Great Stuff, a blog that hits home with almost every post she makes. 

Most of my signs are heading to a (big) craft fair this coming weekend, so whatever is left is what I'll post here, hopefully over Thanksgiving weekend. I wish there was more time to create rather than just on the weekend, but I'll take what I can get. :)
