More Scrabble Tile Pendants

Just a sampling of my latest Scrabble tile pendants.  Can you tell I love owls?!

All Scrabble pendants are $5.00 each without a chain, $6.00 with a chain.  I usually use one of my favorite chains, though, which is a perfect alternative to purchasing one.  Shipping is $3.00, and I can fit up to five tiles in one bubble envelope.

Hand Stenciled Pillowcase with Pillow

This is a pillowcase that I handmade and hand-painted. It is a very simple, clean, decorative piece that would add a quiet touch of "Prim" to any room.

The pillow measures approximately 12" x 16" and is filled with 100% Poly-fil Supreme. The fabric is a light oatmeal colored Osnaburg, and the design itself is black. 

The pillowcase is removable and washable. It will probably require a light ironing before putting it back on the pillow.

Photos on Tiles

Oh my!  I have just discovered how to shrink photographs down to either Scrabble size or glass tile size, which means that I am now going to experiment with putting them on either the Scrabble tile or glass tiles! I reallyreally hope this works...it will be so COOL!  I'll keep you posted. :)

Decorative Handpainted Signs

Hi there.  Here are a few of my newest signs.  They are headed to a craft fair in Troy, NY this weekend and whatever doesn't sell is then headed to the Olde Deerfield Craft Fair in Deerfield, MA next weekend.  If you see something you're interested in, let me know.  There are many color combinations possible, so let me know if you have a preference.  I can always do another. :)

As with all of my signs, these are lightly varnished for indoor use and come with a saw-tooth hanger attached for easy hanging.  If you need something for outdoor use, let me know and I will use a different varnish appropriate for outdoor use.  Thanks for stopping by!

Five Wedding Signs

Hi there.  Just wanted to share the five wedding signs that I delivered today.  The woman who ordered them is having her son's wedding in her yard, and intends on putting the signs (on stakes) in succession leading to the back yard.  They'll read:  "Cocktails, Dinner, Dancing, And Fun!"  She also ordered the "Gentlemen" sign for the outdoor bathroom (the gals get to use the indoor bathroom!)

These signs are pretty large; the height is 11" and the lengths range from 24" to 32" long, with the letters being 5" high.  They're larger than I've done in the past, but they'll work well because they'll be out in the yard.

This was a really fun project, although it did take a few weeks.  Of course, I have been on summer vacation (due to go back to the middle school Monday), so perhaps that mentality held me up just a bit.  :)

New Scrabble Tile Necklaces

Hi again.  Here are a few of my newest Scrabble tile necklaces.  There are more in my Etsy shop, too.

All Scrabble tiles are $5.00 each (tiles only), with $2.50 shipping.  I can usually ship up to four together for the same shipping cost.  

These are actual Scrabble tiles that have been made into fun, whimsical and unique necklaces. The ones you see here are initials...every initial is available even though just a few are shown. Please let me know which initial(s) you'd like in an email.

These necklaces are fun and inexpensive ways to show your favorite thoughts, colors, hobbies...the possibilities are almost endless! They're great "party favors" for a child's birthday, stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, or a "just because" gift. Use your imagination! :-)

Each image is covered with an acrylic-like glaze and has a silver-plated jewelry bail attached (some examples shown above). The price is for one tile only; I also sell simple chains if you'd like one, but you can always use your own chain if you prefer.

The tiles are NOT waterproof, so don't forget to remove them before swimming, bathing, etc. They also have small pieces, so please keep them away from the little ones.

This is the back of an actual black Scrabble tile...the letters are silver...very different.

This is my newest idea.  It's an actual three-leaf clover that I found, pressed, and made into this necklace.  I'm on the hunt for four-leaf clovers and when I find some, (notice I said WHEN), I'll be making them into necklaces, too.  I'm also working on other items from Nature, so stay tuned. :)
